James Morgan is a versatile and accomplished session musician, who has worked all over the world with a variety of artists across the Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Indie genres.



His session credits include Piri & Tommy, Dan Whitlam, Ten Tonnes, Jamie Hannah, Talia Rae, Felix Rabin, Tjoe Man Cheung, Chinbundu Onuzo, Oscar Browne and many more, including his own project Queenstown Collective, with whom he recently played Ronnie Scott’s. 



As a drummer, his live work has taken him to many iconic venues, including multiple O2’s, Koko, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Union Chapel & the 606 Club. As well as working as a support act for iconic artists such as Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Ella Eyre, Corinne Bailey Rae and many more.

Alongside his busy schedule of live work, James is an in-demand studio musician. He has worked with renowned producers such as Mike Spencer & Charlie Andrew’s, and runs his own small studio in Bermondsey that he uses for remote drum recordings.
